About Us
Founded in 2024 by Vanilla Baker, Modo.K is a handmade, ethically produced, clothing and accessory brand focusing on styles inspired by children's fashion, animated fashion, and more. Before creating the brand, Vanilla found herself inspirited by the bold shapes and cute patterns of retro anime and the styles of her youth, but with no means by which to express this admiration as an adult. Clothing with similar styles is typically made poorly with synthetic materials in limited sizes (reference the infamous "Free Size" which can be found on almost every J-fashion website). With longevity and inclusivity as core values, Vanilla set out to build a brand which could combine her passions and create something unique that people of every age could enjoy.
